Any diet will work, the problem is as soon as you go off the diet you gain the weight back. It is smarter to make changes in your eating habits that you can live with. Eat more fruits and veggies, eat smaller portions, cut way back on fats, salt, sugar, red meat and carbs and get some exercise. |

I am a 48 y.o. male and I started NS on 12 Jan 10. I have lost 12 pounds as of today and I am still losing at the same rate. Most importantly my stomach has shrunk so I can't eat nearly as much. I have been dieting (a total failure until now) since the middle of high school. I have NEVER been able to sustain less than 2000 calories per day for more than a couple days. Now on NS I can average 1500 calories per day for almost a month now!!!!!! And they have a great variety of food that I don't think I will ever get tired of. I actually save money because we don't go out to eat as much as we used to. I don't like their website, it is not very user friendly. But you can easily fix any problems with a phone call, they are there 24/ 7. |

I would think that just like most diets it will work as long as you stick with it and exercise. however, my friend tried it a few years ago and said the food was the nastiest crap she'd ever eaten. they have more/ different food options now, so i'm not 100% sure, but i would say that if you're even a little bit picky about food, then it's probably not for you. good luck! |
